BBQ for the Fourth

Well it is that time of year again, grills rolling out, charcoal burning and sauce…lots of sauce. Sauce brings with it my sworn enemy, carbs, lots of carbs. I’m experimenting with making my own low carb sauce, we’ll see how it goes. Results to be posted.


  1. The various attempts at sauces didn’t go too well so I ended up just using the Walden Farms 0 calorie, 0 everything BBQ sauce (thick and spicy version). It was okay but I’m not giving up on sauce just yet, it makes grilling extra fantastic. More to come…

  2. Don’t know if your sauce ended up low carb or not but the ribs were great. Thanks for sending leftovers along!

    • It was only partially low carb so low-ish. 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed them.
